đź«’ Happy National Olive Day! đź«’

Today, we're celebrating one of the world's oldest and most versatile fruits with a special recipe from Tim! Join us as we recognize National Olive Day with a delicious Olive Tapenade paired with a classic cocktail.

Olives have been enjoyed for thousands of years, with over 500 varieties found around the world. From salads and pastas to pizzas and appetizers, they continue to be a staple in cuisines across the globe.

Tim's Olive Tapenade Recipe:

🥖 Toast baguette slices drizzled with olive oil at 350°F for 4–6 minutes.

Combine in a food processor:
• 4–6 cloves garlic
• 6 anchovy fillets
• 1 cup Kalamata olives
• 1 cup Castelvetrano olives
• 8 oz. sun-dried tomatoes
• 3 tbsp fresh basil
• 6 tbsp fresh parsley
• 4 tbsp capers
• 4 tbsp lemon juice + zest of 1 lemon
• 6 green onions
• ¼ cup yellow or red onion
• Pepper to taste

Pulse until roughly chopped. Add 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil and pulse until combined (not pureed). Check seasoning and add salt if needed.

Top toasted bread with the olive mixture and enjoy! 🫒✨
