“Cervical cancer is not just a cancer issue—it is a sexual and reproductive health issue. Through good SRH services, cervical cancer can be prevented, detected early, and treated before it becomes life-threatening. Every woman has the right to information and access to these services.”

Alongside TV1 Samoa, Salausa Dr. John Ah Ching and our Program Manager- Leiloa Asaasa Ropati delivered informed and impactful information across Samoa this morning. The Good Morning Samoa program runs daily and in early hours to deliver awareness, promotion and much more to not only our people in Samoa but also those who are tuned in from Overseas.

This session provided our two MCs to deliver information on Cervical Cancer, from its basic information to testing and screening details. We would like to Thank TV1 Samoa for the opportunity and here’s to more collaborative work in the future.

As the second week of our FLE Roll out in Upolu wraps up, and in Honor of World Sexual Health Day, we would like to reminisce and take a quick look back at these small, but meaningful clips. Showcasing our successful roll out for Matagaluega Faasaleleaga in Savaii, in the month of July. Bringing into view the eagerness of Samoa's young people and communities in learning about Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights.

SFHA and its partnering agencies, organizations, and minsitries continue on with Week 3, for our Family Life Education Cirriculum. Stay tuned for more updates regarding this significant journey, to better support our young people and communities.

We also would like to acknowledge today as it is World Sexual Health Day. SFHA continues to advocate for our young people and community’s rights to Sexual and Reproductive Health. May we continue to strive for a safer and healthier environment for our young ones and generations to come.
