Really honoured to have been asked to take part in Yogamatters 30th anniversary celebrations.
My relationship with them stretches back 23 years when I convinced the managers of two North London drug rehabs to add yoga to their schedules. All the equipment came from Yogamatters and they're still the only place I go to (and recommend) for yoga equipment.
I'll be teaching a free online yoga for stress class for them on Tuesday September 8, 7-8pm.
See you on the mat!

With a new Prime Minister in place, there is a renewed opportunity to ensure mental health gets the attention it deserves, not just in our health system, but across workplaces, schools, and communities.

Earlier this month, MHFA England® contributed to the Government's new mental health strategy, calling for a greater focus on prevention, early intervention, and the vital role employers can play in supporting mental health. We also made the case for Mental Health First Aid in every workplace as part of a whole-organisation approach to wellbeing. The evidence is clear: mental health is everyone's business. We look forward to working with government, employers, and partners to help build a mentally healthy nation.

Get • The government has announced that a wide range of social media platforms will be banned in the UK for under-16s.

It is vital that the government now uses evidence to inform action. This includes working closely with children, young people and families, along with experts from across the sector, to ensure this historic decision supports wellbeing without closing doors to opportunity and connection.
