Cold temperatures don't just make your hands and feet chilly — they can affect your ears too.
During colder weather, some people experience:
• Ear discomfort or pain
• Increased sensitivity to wind
• Worsening tinnitus symptoms
• Dizziness linked to inner ear conditions
This happens because cold air can irritate the ear canal and affect blood flow around the delicate structures of the ear.
If your ears are particularly sensitive during winter, wearing earmuffs or a warm beanie can help protect them from the cold.
Healthy ears need winter care too!
