If you use an inhaler with steroid medication for mild to moderate asthma, help us study an inhaler that’s more climate friendly.

The TRECONY study is being done to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational asthma inhaler that uses a new climate friendly alternative propellant.

📍To be considered for the study, participants must meet these and other criteria:

•Aged 18-75 years
•Diagnosed with mild to moderate asthma for at least 6 months before 50 years old
•Currently receiving stable asthma treatment that includes a daily inhaled steroid at low or medium dose (such as beclometasone, budesonide, ciclesonide, fluticasone, or mometasone) •associated or not with a •broncholdilator
•Are a non-smoker or ex-smoker

The study will last about 20 weeks and require 8 visits to the site. Study drugs, study visits, and study-related tests and examinations are provided at no cost.

’n Nuwegenerasie-dryfmiddel vir asma-inhaleerders kan ’n beter alternatief vir die planeet
wees.

As jy ’n inhaleerder met steroïedmedikasie vir ligte tot matige asma gebruik, help ons om ’n inhaleerder te bestudeer wat klimaatvriendeliker is.

Die doel van die TRECONY-studie is om die veiligheid en doeltreffendheid te evalueer
van ’n asma-inhaleerder van ’n navorsingsaard wat ’n nuwe klimaatsvriendelike
alternatiewe dryfmiddel gebruik.

📍Om vir die studie oorweeg te word, moet deelnemers aan hierdie en ander kriteria
voldoen:

• 18-75 jaar oud
• Is minstens 6 maande en voor die ouderdom van 50 met ligte tot matige asma
gediagnoseer
• Ontvang asmabehandeling teen stabiele dosisse wat ’n daaglikse
inhalasiesteroïed (soos beklometasoon, budesonied, siklesonied, flutikasoon
of mometasoon) teen ’n lae of middelmatige dosis insluit wat met of sonder ’n
brongodilator gegee word
• Is ’n nieroker of nie meer ’n roker nie

Die studie sal sowat 20 weke duur en 8 besoeke aan die sentrum vereis.

Studiemedikasies, studiebesoeke, studieverwante toetse en ondersoeke word gratis
verskaf.

• You have high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and/or cardiovascular disease
• You are taking medication for these conditions
• You are able to attend study visits during the study period

The EASi-PROTKT™ clinical study is researching whether an investigational medicine used together with empagliflozin may help reduce the risk of serious heart-related complications.
