We are a very successfully run retirement village set in the scenic town of Howick in the Natal Midlands. Our village consists of 430 individually owned homes and a care centre. Various social groups are run by the residents and provide a number of fun and exciting entertainment options. We have a diningroom in which daily lunches are served for those wanting to get out.

Amberglen residents were treated to a wonderful display of vintage cars, dance moves and liquid treats provided by J Leslie Smith at our weekly morning market.
The car park and dining room were humming with activity as the Village came out in full force to support this amazing event!

"What a way to spend ! 🌿 Our Amberglen community dedicated 67 minutes to Nogqaza School, installing library flooring, planting aloes, setting up bins, and revamping the jungle gym.

Gratitude to Alpha Flooring, Sebenza Forestry, and V&A Caterers for joining forces with us. It was a morning well spent! 🙌 "

A Dazzling Dance

Our dining room was once again abuzz with lively activity with music performed by Barry Ritson and his Bazz Band. He kept the participants moving with his selection of well-known toe tapping tunes.
This was a dance with a difference as an innovation was to invite the partakers to decorate their own tables. Some stylish creations transpired and prizes were awarded.

Monty, Meg and Dexter brought wagging tails and lots of cuddles to our residents!

Our Care Centre was decorated with little splashes of love for Mother’s Day, creating a warm and special atmosphere for all to enjoy. 🌷
Our wonderful ladies were spoilt with special gifts to celebrate and honour them. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and joy shared made it truly memorable.
