Join the African Academy of Sciences Presidential Lecture with Professor Helen Rees, an award-winning global health leader, Executive Director of Wits RHI and Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences. Drawing on her extensive experience in responding to Ebola, COVID-19 and Mpox, Professor Rees will explore “When Climate Changes, Disease Changes: Africa’s Health Systems Preparedness”, focusing on emerging infectious diseases, health security and preparedness.
