Euphony Brands is changing. I want to tell you directly.

After five years of working with medical specialists across South Africa, we are making a deliberate and focused shift into the beauty and retail brand strategy space.

This means:
Euphony Brands will no longer be taking on new medical specialist clients. Our current doctors and specialists on the roster will continue to be served; with the same standard and the same commitment, but our growth focus is now entirely in a new direction.

Where are we going?
We are building a specialist beauty and retail brand strategy consultancy for the African continent. Focused on brand education and beauty advisor training, retail activation and campaign ex*****on, and market entry strategy for beauty and skincare brands building in South Africa and across Africa.

Why this shift?
Because it is who I have always been. I am a qualified Somatologist. I spent years inside L'Oréal Group educating advisors for Kiehl's and working on the Urban Decay South Africa launch. I managed retail for MAC Cosmetics. I built campaigns for Unilever. I served as Regional Account Executive at Apple.

The beauty industry is where my expertise is deepest. It is time the agency reflected that completely.
If you are a beauty brand operating in or entering the South African and African market; or if you know someone who is; I would love to connect.

This is a new chapter for Euphony Brands, and it is the right one.

You will notice updates across our platforms as the rebrand rolls out. Same values. Same standards. New focus.

With gratitude,
Paballo Euphony Masinga.

Building Euphony Brands has not been without its moments of doubt.

There have been days when the vision was clear but the path was not. Days when the work felt harder than it looked from the outside. Days when I questioned the timing, the market, the decision to do this at all.

But Maya Angelou said it better than I ever could.

Defeats are part of the process. Being defeated is a choice.

Euphony Brands exists because I refused to let the difficult moments have the final word. Every setback refined the thinking. Every closed door sharpened the focus. Every moment of uncertainty made the conviction stronger.

We are building something that has not existed in this form in South Africa before; a boutique consultancy that takes the expertise of medical and wellness specialists seriously as a brand asset, and builds the partnerships and platforms that expertise deserves.

That kind of work does not come without resistance.

But it comes.

To everyone building something that matters, keep going.

🚨1 in 3 South African doctors meets the criteria for burnout.

The mental health of the people we trust with our health is not a topic the industry talks about enough. It should be.

This is not a performance problem. It is a systemic one; and it affects the quality of care every patient in this country receives.

Share this if someone in your life needs to read it.

PCOS has a new name. And the change matters more than it might seem.

For decades, Polycystic O***y Syndrome was named after one visible symptom; cysts on the ovaries. But many women with the condition have no cysts at all. And the condition itself is far broader than its old name ever suggested.

The new name; Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, or PMOS, reflects what clinicians have understood for years: this is a complex hormonal and metabolic condition that affects the entire body, not just the ovaries.

🍭It affects insulin regulation.
⚡It affects cortisol and adrenal function.
💚It affects thyroid health, cardiovascular risk, mental health, and fertility.

Renaming it is not just a clinical formality. It changes how the condition is researched, how it is diagnosed, and - critically - how women who live with it understand and advocate for their own health.

Approximately 1 in 5 South African women of reproductive age are affected. Most wait years for a correct diagnosis. A name that more accurately describes the condition is a step toward changing that.
