After 22 years in corporate, I know what it feels like to always be on-the-go, always thinking about the next deadline, the next goal, the next thing that needs your attention, and I used to love it! I lived for the adrenaline, the pace, and I was (and still am) proud of what I achieved.
For a long time, I told myself I didn’t have time for things like slowing down, meditation, stillness, or creating space for myself. My mind was always moving. My body was always in go-mode.
After nine years of guiding women back to themselves through yoga, meditation, powerful ceremonies, and mindful movement, I’ve learned that softness, and time for yourself, isn’t the opposite of success. In many ways, it becomes the foundation for a more meaningful kind of success.
The more you practice creating space for yourself, and bringing your nervous system back to a safe space, the easier it becomes.
You start responding instead of reacting.
You move with more lightness and joy.
You start to reconnect with your purpose.
