On Workers' Day, we celebrate those whose labour holds the world together.

So today, we want to honour a workforce that doesn't clock in, doesn't clock out, and rarely gets thanked - our caregivers. 💛

To every mother, father, gogo, sibling and family member raising a child with special needs: your love is work. Your patience is work.

The therapy sessions, the early mornings, the doctors' appointments, the advocacy, the sleepless nights - this is some of the hardest, most important work being done in South Africa today.

You are the first teachers.
The first therapists.
The first believers.

Our school is 6 modules into her caregiver training programme — and honestly? We wish we had done this sooner.

The way our staff now sees, understands, and supports children with special needs has completely shifted. These aren't just skills. This is a whole new way of showing up for the kids in our care.
