Thank you to Sophie and Nando for sharing these beautiful moments from the birth of Dante with Dr Simona Fischer 🤍

There are few moments in life as profound as welcoming a new baby into the world. The anticipation, emotion and overwhelming love that accompanies a birth is something truly special to witness.

At Adelaide Obstetrics and Fertility, it is a privilege to be invited into these moments and to support families through such an important chapter in their lives. We are grateful to Sophie and Nando for allowing us to share a small glimpse into their story and for trusting us to be part of their journey.

Our newly designed Adelobs pregnancy books are here, and while we can't deny they are beautiful to look at, they are designed to be so much more than a medical record.

Given to each of our obstetric patients, these books are designed to travel with you throughout your pregnancy, providing space to record important information, keep track of appointments and jot down questions as they arise. Just as importantly, they also offer moments to pause, reflect and capture memories along the way.

Pregnancy can move quickly, and it is often the small moments that are easiest to forget. From milestones and thoughts to hopes, feelings and reflections, these books create a meaningful record of your journey and something to look back on long after your baby arrives.

One of the things we hear most often from patients is how valuable it is to have a dedicated space to check in with themselves throughout pregnancy, while creating a keepsake that captures this special chapter in their lives 🩷

When you're lucky enough to work closely with the same amazing people every day, it doesn't take long to learn who to turns to for different things.

Whether it's a random piece of knowledge, a great recommendation or a particular set of skills, every person brings something unique to the team.

So naturally, we couldn't resist asking a few hypothetical questions to see who our team would choose for different scenarios.

Now it's your turn. Do you agree with the picks? Cast your votes below 👇

Postnatal anxiety and depression are more common than many people realise, and they can affect anyone, at any stage of the antenatal or postnatal journey.

In this video, Adelobs nurse Elise shares some of the signs to look out for, why it is so important to talk openly about how you are feeling, and the support available if you are struggling.

One of the things we remind our patients is that you do not have to go through this alone. Pregnancy, birth and the transition to parenthood bring significant physical, hormonal and emotional changes, and sometimes these changes can feel overwhelming. If you are finding things difficult, it is important to know that your feelings are valid and support is available.

At Adelaide Obstetrics and Fertility, we are privileged to walk alongside our patients throughout pregnancy and beyond. We take mental wellbeing seriously and can connect families with a range of support services and healthcare professionals to help ensure they feel supported every step of the way.

If this video resonates with you, please know that help is available. If you are an Adelaide Obstetrics and Fertility patient, please don't hesitate to contact our team on 08 8272 7755.

Nutrition can play an important role in supporting overall health, fertility and the management of conditions such as endometriosis.

In this video, Dietitians Paige and Nikita from Pearl Fertility Dietitian discuss how tailored nutrition advice may help support women navigating endometriosis and fertility concerns, and why an individualised approach is so important.

Like many aspects of reproductive health, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Understanding your unique needs and circumstances can help you make informed choices and feel more supported throughout your journey.

If you would like to learn more or arrange an appointment, please don't hesitate to contact the team at Adelaide Obstetrics and Fertility on (08) 8272 7755.
