Ovarian cancer is one of the most serious women’s cancers in Australia, with around 1,700 women diagnosed each year. It’s often called the “silent disease” because symptoms can be vague, such as bloating, abdominal pain, or feeling full quickly, and are easily overlooked.
There’s currently no effective screening test, which makes awareness of symptoms and early medical advice so important.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t ignore it. Book an appointment with your GP to discuss any concerns, because early attention can make a real difference.
