Dr Brianna Merenda is a GP Registrar who is passionate about getting to know her patients to deliver the best health outcomes.

She brings fantastic local experience to the Yorke Peninsula, having trained at the QEH, RAH, and Women’s and Children’s Hospital, before spending 2025 in North Haven. Brianna is looking forward to embracing the rural setting and becoming an active part of our local community.

Meet Dr. Cameron 👋

Dr. Don Cameron joined the Medical HQ team in 2005. He holds a Doctorate in Neuroscience alongside his medical degrees and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

With a rich background in medical research and education, Don previously served on the faculty at Flinders University and continues to supervise advanced medical trainees. He has a clinical interest in skin cancer surgery and performs minor procedures on-site at the clinic.

From 15 May, the RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccine will be available for free under the National Immunisation Program (NIP) for all Australians aged 75 and over. 💙

RSV is a highly contagious respiratory virus that can lead to serious lung infections, such as pneumonia, in older adults. This new inclusion in the NIP means eligible patients can now access this vital protection at no cost for the vaccine itself!

Meet Dr. Pese 👋

Dr. Vicki Pese joined the Medical HQ team in 1993! Graduating from the University of Adelaide with honours, she brings over 30 years of experience across the RAH, Women's & Children's Hospital, and international placements in the UK.

Beyond general practice, Vicki is an experienced surgical assistant in Urology and Gynaecological services, and has previously served as an examiner for the RACGP. She enjoys all aspects of GP care and has a special interest in palliative care and women’s health.
