⚠️ National AusAlert Test – Monday 27 July ⚠️
On Monday 27/7 Australia’s new emergency warning system, AusAlert, will be conducting a national test on Monday 27 July.
In South Australia, compatible mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches may receive the test alert at approximately 1:30pm ACST.
Devices may: 📱 Display a test message 🔔 Vibrate 🚨 Play a loud siren-like sound, even if set to silent or "Do Not Disturb" mode.
Please be aware that some children, young people, and adults may find the unexpected sound unsettling. If you think the alert may cause distress, it can be helpful to talk about it beforehand and let them know it is only a test. You can speak to your clinician if your appointment falls within this time.
✅ No action is required if you receive the alert.

On Monday 27 July 2026, a test Critical Alert will be sent to all compatible mobile devices in Australia.The alert will override 'silent' and 'do not disturb' device settings. It will appear like a system notification on screens and make a loud siren sound for 10 seconds.
