Team coffee break on Townsend Street this morning. Sometimes the best team meeting is a walk down the street with a warm cup in hand and some winter sun on your face. Practising what we preach: the work matters, but so does stepping away from the desk for a bit of fresh air and each other’s company.

Big feelings can be hard for little hearts. πŸ’›

Inspired by The Invisible String by Patrice Karst, this gentle 8-week expressive arts and counselling program helps children aged 6–12 build confidence through separation, strengthen social connections, and develop emotional awareness in a safe, supportive environment.

Through creative art, mindfulness, storytelling, and play, children will explore themes of connection, belonging, and resilience while discovering that the people we love remain connected to us, even when we're apart.

Over 8 weeks we'll explore:
β€’ Building safe connections
β€’ Managing separation and goodbyes
β€’ Understanding emotions and body cues
β€’ Strengthening social skills
β€’ Celebrating community and belonging

πŸ“… Tuesdays from 28 July
πŸ•“ 4:00pm – 5:15pm
πŸ“ Phoenix Wings Wellness, Albury

πŸ’² $520 for the full 8-week program ($65 per session)
Includes all art materials, handouts, snacks, and expert support. Concession rates may be available for privately paying families.

πŸ’› Caregivers are welcome to join the beginning of our first session. An intake assessment is completed before the program begins to ensure we can best support your child throughout their journey.

If you think this program could benefit your child, we'd love to hear from you. Visit our website or contact our team to enquire or secure your place.

We're so excited to share something we've been putting together for months.

On Saturday 19 September, we're taking a group of women on a full-day bus trip from Albury to Canberra, built entirely around confidence, connection and wellness.

Women so often miss out on real conversations about their own bodies, relationships and pleasure, and that's exactly what this day is here to change. Expect guided conversations, laughter, a little vulnerability if you want it (never if you don't), guided educational visits to intimacy boutiques, and a whole day spent with women who get it.

No pressure to share. No pressure to buy anything. Just a safe, honest space to learn and connect.

Spaces are limited, so grab your seat while you can.

Swipe through for the details, and see here to book: https://www.phoenixwingswellness.com.au/womens-sexual-wellness-bus-trip

We can't wait to spend the day with you.

A look inside our Introduction to Creative Arts Therapy Workshop 🎨

At the beginning of this month, Mel facilitated our Introduction to Creative Arts Therapy workshop, bringing together a wonderful group for a day filled with creativity, learning, reflection and connection.

Throughout the day, participants experienced a range of creative processes firsthand, working with materials including oil pastels, watercolours, collage and mixed media. Each activity was followed by open discussion around its therapeutic purpose, who it may support, and how it could be adapted for different clients and settings.

From creating safe and dream spaces to exploring memories, trauma and collaborative mandalas, the day offered plenty of opportunities to create, reflect and learn together, with a special visit from our furry team members, Silas and Daisy! 🐾

Everyone walked away with a Certificate of Completion, new perspectives on Creative Arts Therapy and, for many, excitement about continuing their learning in our next workshop!

Swipe through to see some of the creativity from the day. πŸ‘‰βœ¨
