Bronwyn Edna Allen (née George) "Bronnie"
9 September 1952 – 19 October 2026
Aged 74 years.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Bronnie Allen.
Beloved wife of the late Graham "Hairy" Allen.
Cherished and much-loved Mum and Mother-in-law of Tammy and Steve, Sonia and Paul.
Loving Grandma of 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Much-loved sister, neighbor and friend to many.

A Life to Celebrate, A Love to Remember.

Family and friends of Bronwyn invited to celebrate her life at the Tanunda Football Clubrooms on Friday, 30 October 2026, commencing at 10:00 am.
Following the service, Bronnie will be laid to rest at Tabor Cemetery.

Family and friends are then invited to return to the Football Clubrooms to share refreshments, stories and treasured memories of Bronnie.

Passed away peacefully at Riverton Hospital on Friday, 16th October 2026, aged 83 years.
Much loved Mum and Mother-in-law of Peter & Laura, Lyn & Stuart, Tim, Kate and Matthew.
Cherished Nan of 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Forever loved, always remembered.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Cheryl’s life at the Wattle 1 Reflection Room, Enfield Memorial Park, Browning St, Clearview, on Monday, 26th October 2026, commencing at 3:30pm.

In keeping with Cheryl’s colorful personality, everyone is encouraged to wear something bright and colorful as we come together to remember and celebrate her life.

There are days in this profession that really do break your heart, and today is one of them.

Today, I have the heartbreaking privilege of helping a family say goodbye to their precious little girl.

I've been a funeral director for many years, and I've cared for people of all ages, but there is something about the loss of a little child that really hits home.

As a father myself, I find it difficult to comprehend the pain that this family is going through. No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their child, especially one who has barely had the chance to experience life.

People sometimes ask me how I do this job. The truth is, there are days when I ask myself the same question.

We might be funeral directors, but we're human. We have hearts, we have families, and we carry some of these moments with us long after the funeral is over.

This profession doesn't have set hours or days off when families need us. Whether it's a weekend, a public holiday or the middle of the night, we are there. Not because we have to be, but because we genuinely care about the people who place their trust in us.

Today, as I look at this tiny coffin in the back of our hearse, I'm reminded just how precious life really is.

I can't take away this family's heartbreak. I can't find the words to make any of this seem fair. But I can make sure their beautiful little girl is cared for with the same love, gentleness and dignity I would want for one of my own.

And sometimes, that's all we can do.

Today, my heart is with a family who are facing something no family should ever have to face.
