This Speech Pathology Week, we’re celebrating the incredible impact communication has on our everyday lives and the amazing people who help make communication possible. 💙

Speech pathologists support people of all ages with communication, speech, language, literacy, voice and swallowing. From helping a child find their voice, to supporting an adult to reconnect with loved ones after an illness or injury, speech pathology can make a meaningful difference at every stage of life.

🌍❤️ World Humanitarian Day ❤️🌍
Today, we honour the people who dedicate themselves to helping others often in the most difficult and dangerous circumstances.

Humanitarianism reminds us that compassion knows no borders, and that every person deserves dignity, safety, kindness and hope. 🤝

Let’s recognise the aid workers, volunteers, healthcare professionals, community leaders and everyday people who step forward when others need help most.

But being humanitarian isn’t only about grand acts. Sometimes it’s a helping hand, a listening ear, a kind word, or simply standing beside someone who is struggling.

🌍 Small acts of kindness can create ripples of change.

Today, let’s choose compassion over indifference, kindness over judgement, and action over silence.

Together, we can build a more caring and humane world one act of kindness at a time. ❤️

🧠💙 Brain Injury Awareness Week 💙🧠
This Brain Injury Awareness Week, let’s take a moment to recognise the millions of people whose lives have been changed by brain injury and the families, friends, carers and communities who support them every step of the way.

A brain injury isn’t always visible. The effects can be physical, cognitive, emotional or behavioural, and sometimes the biggest challenges are the ones that others cannot see.

💙 Believe survivors.
💙 Listen without judgement.
💙 Be patient and understanding.
💙 Raise awareness and reduce stigma.

Recovery doesn’t always happen in a straight line, and every person’s journey is different. A little understanding can make a huge difference.

This week, let’s spread awareness, show compassion and remind those living with brain injury that they are seen, heard and supported. 🧠💙
