AAC Awareness Month

AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication

This can include gestures, signs, pictures, symbols and communication devices. AAC helps people express their wants, needs, thoughts, feelings and ideas.

And play is such an important place to support communication because communication happens everywhere, especially when we’re having fun!

Every voice matters. Every way of communicating counts.
