🌱✨ At Functional Focus Therapy, we’re passionate about building meaningful relationships that strengthen support for children and families in the communities where they live, learn and play.

We’re excited to be partnering with Blue Haven SaCC through a Supported Playgroup for children aged 0-6 years and their families. 🧸💙 This initiative brings together families, educators and allied health professionals in a welcoming community setting, promoting connection, participation and early support through everyday play experiences. Our supported playgroup runs on Wednesday’s each week, between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm. If you’d like to come along, please contact dolphin cottage directly.

If you’re a school, preschool, community centre, early childhood service or community service provider interested in organisation-to-organisation partnerships across Northern Central Coast, Lake Macquarie and Newcastle, we’d love to explore how we can work together to support local children and families. 🤝🌈

Our Occupational Therapist-led Music Groups help children and teens develop confidence, social connections, emotional awareness, coordination, attention, and motor skills through the joy of music.

Small groups of 3-4 participants
Individual music tuition available

🌟 This week, Luke and Darcy attended Wyong Public School’s Kindergarten Expo and had the chance to connect with local families and the wider school community. 🎒✨
FFT and Wyong Public School have enjoyed a longstanding partnership through Early Stage 1 and Stage 1 consultation support, cohort programs, and our Supported Playgroup at the school community centre. 🤝
We’re excited to share that this partnership is growing! 🎉 Later in Term 3, FFT will begin operating a satellite clinic space on the Wyong Public School site, providing individual therapy supports in a convenient local location. These services will be delivered independently of the Department of Education while utilising the school’s available space.
✅ Improved access for local families
✅ Increased opportunities for early intervention
✅ Greater teacher-therapist collaboration
✅ Expanded therapy supports across the community
📍 Referrals are now open, with services expected to commence later in Term 3.
