What is a Lotus Birth? 🪷

It’s an honouring of the connection your baby has to their placenta, their connection to the Divine Mother, and their connection to the cosmos. 💫
A lotus birth is the process of allowing the umbilical cord to fall off from your baby’s belly in its own time, giving your baby full autonomy to make this decision.

We can use dried powdered rosemary (or other herbs) to help dry out the placenta, as it can take up to a week for the umbilical cord to dry and fall off.

In choosing a lotus birth, you choose to trust your baby’s innate intuition and wisdom, trusting that they know when to release their life in the womb and start to ground in this world.
