Our passion is the health and wellbeing of your eyes. At Vision Optics your eye health is our priori Our passion is the health and well being of your eyes.

Vision Optics was established in January 1981. Yes, that’s more than 30 years in operation and we have treated over 30,000 individual patients during this time. Owner and principal optometrist, Andrew Angeli entered optometry school to make a difference to patients' vision outcomes over a lifetime, and not just to dispense and sell glasses. At Vision Optics, our goal is to save vision in as many patients as possible. Your eye health is our priority and we have invested many years in study and the finest available equipment to provide the greatest level of eye care possible. We also pride ourselves on the quality of our spectacles. Your most precious sense deserves optimal quality. Not only do you need to see well with your spectacles, but you also need to feel good wearing them. At Vision Optics, our goal is to ensure they enhance your life.

Not just glasses! 👓Myopia is an ocular condition that affects more than 2.5 billion people around the world! 🌍

Blurry vision 😵‍💫and expensive 💸lenses aren’t the only problems with myopia. The eyeball stretches in ways that can affect your sight long-term, causing things like macula problems, glaucoma and retinal detachments.

Remember the 2️⃣0️⃣/ 2️⃣0️⃣/2️⃣0️⃣ rule:
For every 20 minutes of screen time, look away at an object 20 feet (6 meters) away for 20 seconds.

See your optometrist for advice on how to slow it down and protect your eyes!

“Plus” ➕ or “hyperopic” prescriptions are a little more complicated than your typical “minus” ➖ ones - simply because the eye is such a complex organ that is constantly focusing and unfocusing! 👁️👁️

At a young age, you may not experience the typical “blur” as seen in the video - but you might experience symptoms like headaches or intermittent blurry vision when you’ve been reading or using your phone for too long! 😵‍💫

At around age 45, our reading vision becomes harder and blurrier - our focusing system begins to slow down.

See your optometrist for more advice on whether you should be wearing glasses!🔍🥸🫪🤔
