Caroline Abram’s collections are intended for all the women who want to feel beautiful, sensual, or just themselves. 🍒

Caroline Abram, an optician trained for several years in designer-oriented stores, started designing eyewear accessories in 1998—reviving the little-known lorgnette and quickly gaining international success. After winning four gold Silmo awards, her company Filao opened craft workshops in Dakar, where she spent her childhood.

She trained a women’s team that manufactures her accessory lines for over 15 years using materials like resin, silver, wood, and semi-precious stones. Inspired by the vintage charm of Florida, she launched her own eyewear line in 2008, embracing sixties, cat-eyes, and femininity. In 2014, she introduced a children’s line, “Têtes à Lunettes,” which won a Silmo award in its first year.

Hey everyone! We are looking for a welcoming, friendly face to join our indpendent, optometry team at ICU Optometry in Bardon. Your role is organising the appointment book, booking patient appointments, taking phone calls, helping patients pick the perfect frame and lenses, and more. Training will be provided. We are ideally looking for someone with optical dispensing, medical reception or relevant experience, however are open to all applicants.
