Wear It Purple Day 💜 Colours of Courage
Today, Elysium Psychology is proud to acknowledge Wear It Purple Day and stand alongside LGBTQIA+SB young people, their families, communities and allies.
This year’s theme, Colours of Courage, reminds us that courage is not always found in big or visible moments. Sometimes, courage looks like being able to show up as your authentic self, asking for support, standing beside someone you care about, or creating space for others to feel safe, accepted and understood.
At Elysium Psychology, we believe that feeling seen, heard and accepted matters for mental health and wellbeing.
We strive to provide a safe, respectful and inclusive space where people can:
💜 Explore their identity and experiences without judgement
💜 Talk openly about their mental health and wellbeing
💜 Build self-understanding, confidence and resilience
💜 Develop strategies to navigate stress, relationships, life transitions and challenging experiences
💜 Feel supported to live authentically and in ways that are meaningful to them
Importantly, creating inclusive and affirming spaces is something we believe in every day - not just on Wear It Purple Day.
To our LGBTQIA+SB clients, colleagues, families and community: you deserve to feel safe, supported and proud of who you are. 🌈💜
Let’s celebrate the many colours of courage and continue creating communities where everyone can belong.
Everyday pride. Everyday support. Together, we create change.
