Many important health conditions — such as diabetes, high cholesterol, osteoporosis, high blood pressure and some heart conditions — can develop quietly for years without noticeable symptoms.

Many young and middle-aged adults feel healthy and assume everything is fine. But some conditions can progress silently and may only become apparent after complications occur.

The good news is that early detection can help reduce risk through lifestyle changes, regular monitoring and appropriate treatment.

At The Practice Bundanoon, we are starting a health screening initiative focused on identifying silent conditions early and helping our community stay healthier for longer.

A little late ⏰ but………..happy birthday to Dr Aarielle Turner, our amazing Deputy CEO 😂 and our wonderful Principal Gp. Thank you for teaching us all!

We love this woman more than anything. She never tells me no and is always my ultimate hype person. Thank you for the late nights, the endless support, and for always restocking our fizzy drinks 🥤Aarielle is always studying something and we will probs have to expand soon so we can fit more certifications on the wall!

Also, I will never share a croissant with anyone else 🥐

Fun fact about Aarielle: she can play the flute 🎶 join me in singing Hip Hip hooray to the birthday queen.

Meet our newest team member ❤️ Dr. Mohammad Vojdan-Parast is a highly experienced medical practitioner with nearly 20 years of clinical experience in both hospital and outpatient settings. He has a strong background in internal medicine and cardiology (he was an interventional cardiologist and phlebologist), with extensive experience managing a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

He completed his medical training in Iran and has worked across diverse clinical environments, including emergency departments, rural health centers, and tertiary hospitals. His broad experience has equipped him with excellent skills in patient assessment, diagnosis, and comprehensive care.

Dr. Mohammad has a particular interest in cardiovascular health, including hypertension, coronary heart disease, dyslipidemia, heart failure, diabetes, etc. He is committed to delivering patient-centered care, focusing on clear communication, evidence-based practice, and tailored treatment plans.

Today we farewell Dr Niknami - a dedicated, patient-centred physician who brought genuine compassion to every consultation.

It has been a privilege to have her as part of The Practice Bundanoon family, and we know she will carry that same care and commitment wherever she goes next.

We wish her all the very best. She will be greatly missed by our team and her patients alike.
