Travelling with a walnut allergy means I never leave home without my adrenaline device. I'm reading food labels in different languages, asking questions at every restaurant and always hyper vigilant when I hear a bag of nuts open near me on public transport.

The good news is allergy treatment is evolving. We've all been trained to use an Epipen and Anapen adrenaline auto-injectors, now we have newer options such as the Neffy® nasal spray and Jext auto-injector.

If you or someone you love is at risk of anaphylaxis, don't rely on luck, carry your adrenaline device, know how to use it, and make sure the people around you know what to do in an emergency. It could save a life.

A SCAD heart attack stands for Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection.

SCAD occurs when a tear develops in the wall of a coronary artery. Blood can then collect between the layers of the artery wall, creating a blockage that reduces blood flow to the heart muscle and causes a heart attack.

SCAD most commonly affects:

* Women are about 90% of cases
* People aged 30–60
* Individuals with few or no traditional heart disease risk factors
* Women during or after pregnancy
* People with certain blood vessel conditions such as Fibromuscular Dysplasia

SCAD symptoms are similar to any heart attack:

* Chest pain or pressure
* Pain in the arm, neck, jaw, or back
* Shortness of breath
* Sweating
* Nausea
* Dizziness

Meet the crew.

They're interactive, they light up rewarding each compression and inflate with each breath. The AED's simulate a real life emergency giving timely prompts to reassure the responder.

I pride myself in giving real time, real life scenarios to best prepare staff if the time arises.

Bookings available in July.

There’s something incredibly powerful about a room full of women who show up not just for themselves, but for others. 🤍

These incredible women stepped into the Mental Health for First Responders training with openness, courage, and a willingness to have the conversations that truly matter. What you’re seeing here isn’t just a practical scenario… it’s connection in action. It’s listening without judgment, responding with empathy, and building the confidence to support someone in their most vulnerable moments.

The life experience, compassion, and wisdom in this room created something really special.
