🔋 Need to recharge your mobility device while you're out in Bunbury? 🔋
The City’s Mobility Device Recharge Program helps people using electric wheelchairs, gophers and other mobility devices stay connected with convenient recharge stations across the city.

Our current recharge station locations include Bunbury Public Libraries, Withers Library, Bunbury Forum Shopping Centre and the South West Sports Centre. Simply bring your own charging cable and check with the venue for any site-specific requirements! Find out more here - https://vist.ly/5f752

🔋 We're also looking to expand our network of Recharge Stations. If you're a business owner or community organisation with an accessible power point available, consider joining the program and helping make Bunbury more accessible and inclusive for everyone!

💡 Small changes = big difference 💡

We recently worked with this client to improve their safety showering. After careful assessment and ensuring compliance with relevant Australian standards, we recommended

✅ Installation of 2 grab rails
✅ A slip resistant mat outside the shower
✅ Removal of the shower screen door
✅ Installation of a weighted curtain
✅ Sitting to shower
✅ Showering while someone else is home

The client now needs supervision instead of physical assistance showering. A big difference from some carefully considered simple modifications and equipment 👌🏻
