💗 Day 5 of Women’s Health Week: To Connect

We all need connection — especially when things feel a little harder than usual.

If you can’t reach a friend or family member, reach out to a professional. You don’t have to navigate things alone.

There are so many women, health professionals and support networks who understand what you’re going through and would be more than happy to listen, support and help. 🌸

Sometimes, the first step is simply saying, “I need some help.” And that’s okay. 🫶

🌿 Day 4 of Women’s Health Week: To Breathe

Sometimes, looking after our mental health starts with something as simple as taking a breath.

When life feels overwhelming, we can unconsciously take short, shallow breaths. Belly breathing — also known as diaphragmatic breathing — encourages us to slow down, soften our shoulders and let our breath move deeper into our body.

Stay tuned for a quick belly breathing exercise with Amanda >

🌿 Day 3 of Women’s Health Week: To Rest

Rest is not a luxury — it’s an important part of looking after your health. 💗

During pregnancy, your body is constantly adapting and working hard. Giving yourself permission to slow down, rest and recover can support your physical and mental wellbeing.

In women’s health physio, we also talk about finding the right balance between movement and rest — especially when your body is changing, recovering or feeling overwhelmed.

So today, take a moment to pause. Put your feet up, take a breath and remember: rest is productive too. 🫶

🌸 Day 2 of Women’s Health Week: To Move

Movement doesn’t have to mean a HIIT workout or pushing yourself to the limit! 💪

Sometimes, a walk, some gentle stretching or a few minutes of mobility is exactly what your body needs. Just like this next mobility challenge from Emma and Kayleigh >

As physios, we’re all about helping you find movement that feels good, supports your body and fits into your everyday life.

Every little bit of movement counts. đź’—

Day 1 of Women’s Health Week: To Fuel 🍎

What we eat and drink can play a bigger role in pelvic health than you might think!

From supporting healthy bowel habits to managing constipation and staying hydrated, fuelling your body can also help support your pelvic floor. đź’š

That’s why we work closely with dietitians — because gut health and pelvic health go hand in hand!

We’re celebrating Women’s Health Week here at The Pelvic Physio! 💗

This week is all about prioritising women’s health — from the physical to the mental, and everything in between.

We’ll be sharing tips, education and practical ways to support your health across the week, with a special focus on the five themes: To Move, To Fuel, To Breathe, To Connect and To Check. 🌿

Because your health deserves to be a priority — not something you put off until you have time.
