We love collaborating with local community businesses and there is none that represent the value of community more than Newcastle Spiral Spuds.

Ash and his team are local.

They recognise the financial pressures on families so their prices remain considerably low.

They recognise the value of well-being so attend events that support community.

They recognise the value of community, so they don’t just deliver a product, they provide connection.

This isn’t a paid advertisement, it’s a real story about a small business doing big things and going beyond the typical business model to be in community, with community, by community.

This is the model that we value at The Su***de Prevention Network. We encourage more businesses in the Hunter to follow Ash’s lead.

💚 A little rain certainly didn’t dampen the community spirit last Saturday!

It was a wonderful way to kick off Mental Health Month, with live entertainment, music, storytelling and plenty of opportunities to connect with local mental health and wellbeing services.

To everyone who came along, joined the walk, stopped for a chat or took the time to learn about the support available locally, your presence meant so much.

What a day! 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Mental Health Expo & Wellness Walk at Warners Bay Foreshore.

Despite a few patches of rain throughout the day, the event was a great success and it was wonderful to see so many people come together in support of mental health and wellbeing in our community.

A special thank you to One Door Mental Health for their support in helping make the day possible, and to all of our incredible stallholders who showed up, set up and stayed with us through the weather.

And to everyone who came along, visited the stalls, joined the walk, had a conversation or simply showed their support, thank you for being part of such a wonderful day.

Days like this show just how powerful community and connection can be. 💚
