Here are two stretches that help relieve pain if you're on your feet all day.
Calf stretch: while leaning your hands against a wall, bend front knee and straighten back leg so that your heel touches the floor. Hold for 30 seconds each side. This targets the large calf muscle with the greatest influence on plantar fascia tension.
Plantar fascia stretch: seated, foot crossed over your knee, toes gently pulled back toward your shin. Best done before your first steps in the morning when the tissue is most loaded.
