Here are two stretches that help relieve pain if you're on your feet all day.

Calf stretch: while leaning your hands against a wall, bend front knee and straighten back leg so that your heel touches the floor. Hold for 30 seconds each side. This targets the large calf muscle with the greatest influence on plantar fascia tension.

Plantar fascia stretch: seated, foot crossed over your knee, toes gently pulled back toward your shin. Best done before your first steps in the morning when the tissue is most loaded.

You might be cutting your toenails wrong!

Cutting them too short, rounding the corners, or tearing rather than cutting can all encourage the nail edge to grow into the surrounding skin.
The nail should be cut straight across and left long enough that the corners sit just above the skin, not below it.

It sounds minor. But it's one of the most common causes of recurring ingrown toenails we see.

🏃‍♂️ Most running injuries don't come down to a single moment. They build up slowly from a movement pattern that's placing too much load on the same spot, week after week.

Small things like how your foot strikes the ground, how your hips move, how much your ankle rolls inward, can be invisible to the naked eye but show up clearly on video.

We record you walking or running on a treadmill, then review the footage together so you can actually see what's happening. Even minor adjustments to technique can take a significant amount of strain off the tissues that keep breaking down.
