A crisp, clear day greeted Noel and Greg at the Mole Creek Cemetery today.
Beneath the bright sun and the imposing gaze of the Western Tiers, the frosty air carried a quiet dignity. With a Tasmanian Blackwood coffin, native flowers, and a razor-sharp, finely tuned Stihl chainsaw resting nearby, the setting was deeply personal and perfectly reflected Tom Shaw.
It was a beautiful backdrop for family and friends to gather, honour Tom, and bid him a peaceful farewell at his graveside.

There are so many reasons I love this profession.
I love hearing the stories that make a person unforgettable.

I love helping families discover that a funeral doesn’t have to fit inside a template. It can be as unique as the life it celebrates.

I love the privilege of standing beside people during one of life’s hardest moments and helping lift some of the weight from their shoulders.

I love preserving the traditions and rituals that have comforted generations, while embracing new technologies and evolving family wishes, to create deeply personal and meaningful farewells.

Most of all, I love that this work reminds us what truly matters. Time is our most valuable asset, and every day in this profession reinforces that lesson.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me creating something artistic, supporting local events and live music, or exploring our beautiful corner of Tasmania with a fresh appreciation for everything it has to offer. I’m also a proud mum of two, and they remind me every day why making time for the people we love is so important.

As I step into my new role as Funeral Services Manager, I’m incredibly grateful for the support, trust and encouragement I’ve received throughout my journey. It’s a privilege to continue serving our local community in an industry I’m extremely passionate about.

Whether you have questions about planning ahead, need guidance after the loss of a loved one, or simply have a question or curiousity, my door is always open. If I can help make a difficult time just a little easier, it would be an honour to do so.

A warm tribute for Noel's kindness, empathy, and outstanding professionalism.

"We would like to sincerely thank you for the care, compassion, and professionalism you showed during the recent funeral of our beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, wife, and mother, Annette Aichberger.
As you can understand this was a very difficult time, but your kindness, patience, and attention to every detail brought us comfort and reassurance. You treated our family with genuine respect and dignity, and for that we are truly grateful.
Thank you for helping us honour her life so beautifully, respecting her final wishes and for guiding us through one of the hardest times we have faced. Your care and support will never be forgotten.
With heartfelt thanks and appreciation
Sincerely Suzanne and the Hays and Aichberger families."

🤍Honouring a Life, Cherishing the Memories 🤍
When someone we love is cremated, their ashes become a deeply personal symbol of their story, their spirit, and the moments we shared. There’s no single “right” way to honour them—only the way that feels right for you and your family.

Here are some beautiful and meaningful ways families choose to keep their loved one close:

Memorial gardens - Many families find comfort in having a dedicated space surrounded by nature. Vincent Funerals Rose Garden at Ulverstone, pictured here, sits on 4 acres surrounded by gums and bush, is a peaceful place to visit, sit and feel connected to your loved one.

Urns - From classic designs to modern keepsakes, an urn can be a timeless tribute displayed at home or placed in a memorial setting.

Memorial jewellery - A subtle, heartfelt way to carry a part of your loved one with you every day.

View our range of urns and jewellery on our website or the displays in our branches at Ulverstone, Devonport and Burnie - www.vincentfunerals.com.au/after-the-funeral/urns-cremation-jewellery

Scattering in a meaningful place — Whether it’s a favourite beach, garden, or lookout, scattering ashes in a cherished location can be a powerful moment of release and remembrance.

However you choose to honour them, may it bring you peace, connection, and a sense of closeness that lasts.
