Did you know that influenza vaccination is free for infants and children aged 6 months to 4 years old because this age group is at risk of serious illness from influenza?

Did you also know that this year there's a needle-free influenza vaccination option available?

Lower Eyre Family Practice have the needle-free intranasal influenza vaccine 'FluMist' in stock, free on the National Immunisation Program, for 2-4 year old children.

For children and adolescents aged 5-17, we can offer a script for private purchase FluMist. A GP consult is necessary for the script and the FluMist must be administered by our trained GP's or nurses in the clinic.

We always have influenza vaccine in stock, funded or private purchase, for all age groups aged 6 months and older.

This year a needle-free intranasal flu vaccine 'FluMist' is available, for free, for 2 to 4 year old children.

FluMist can be given to children aged 2 to 17 years of age and can be purchased privately with a GP script. A GP appointment for a script is necessary and the vaccine must be administered in the clinic by a nurse or GP.

FREE Mental Health Support Walk-in Service

Free mental health support is available in Cummins on Tuesdays from 10am - 4pm in the SA Ambulance building, Tumby Bay Road.

Neami National offer free mental health support to people over the age of 16 and are here in Cummins to provide easy access to mental health support to our community.

Lower Eyre Family Practice would like to thank Country SA PHN for funding this valuable service and supporting our community's wellbeing.
