The NDIS landscape is changing, but one thing that will never change is our commitment to the people we support. 💚

At Joining The Dodts, we are a proud Registered NDIS Provider, and we want our participants, families, and community to know:

✨ We are not going anywhere.
✨ We will continue to adapt, evolve, and continue to support for as long as the system allows
✨ We will continue putting participants first.

As the NDIS continues to change, our main focus remains committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred supports that focus on real outcomes, genuine relationships, and helping people achieve what matters most to them, and their goals.

We understand that change can feel uncertain, but our values remain the same:
✔ Registered
✔ Reliable
✔ Real

We are here for the long term, supporting our participants, empowering choice and control, and continuing to make the impossible, possible.

Thank you to every participant, family member, staff member, and provider who continues to trust and support us on this journey. 💚

Meet Ian – Our Newest Support Coordinator! 💚

We’re so excited to officially introduce Ian to the Joining The Dodts team!

Ian brings years of experience in the NDIS space, beginning his career as a Teacher’s Aide at Indie School before moving into Support Work and Case Management across a range of core support providers. He understands the system from the ground up and knows what it takes to deliver genuine, person-centred support.

More importantly- Ian is a natural when it comes to building rapport. He enjoys a laugh (or several), brings a relaxed and approachable style, and has a way of making people feel instantly at ease. We know participants are going to love working with him.

Outside of work, Ian is a proud family man and sports enthusiast. He still plays cricket (We hear he is pretty good), and now coaches the Under 16’s hockey team- after officially retiring himself from playing. A strategic retirement, apparently… 🤔😂

✨ Even better news? Ian has immediate capacity to support participants in the Support Coordination space. If you, your family member, or someone you work with is looking for an experienced and down-to-earth Support Coordinator, he’s ready to go!

🎓 Professional Milestone Achievement

Today, Laura proudly celebrates completing her Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing (Mental Health & Psychiatric Nursing), a significant achievement that strengthens not only her clinical expertise, but also the quality and depth of support provided through Joining The Dodts.

This qualification enhances her ability to:
✨ interpret clinical recommendations
✨ communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
✨ understand restrictive practices and safeguarding requirements
✨ support participants with complex mental health needs
✨ guide providers in best-practice approaches
✨ ensure safer, more informed decision-making

For Joining The Dodts, this represents another step forward in delivering high-quality, clinically informed, person-centred support across Tasmania. Laura’s ongoing commitment to learning and professional excellence continues to elevate the organisation and strengthen outcomes for the people they support.

💚 Making the impossible, possible, with knowledge, compassion, and dedication.

🌟 DCCI Business Excellence Awards – What an Honour! 🌟

A few weeks ago, Jye and Laura had the privilege of attending the DCCI Business Excellence Awards, where Joining The Dodts was nominated and named a finalist.

While we didn’t take out the award, we are incredibly honoured to have been recognised alongside two major organisations on the North West Coast- TassieCare and Multicap Tasmania. To be nominated alone is an amazing feeling… to become a finalist is something we are truly proud of.

💛 A huge congratulations to Multicap Tasmania on taking home the award!

The North West Coast continues to show that inclusion matters, and that’s something we at Joining The Dodts deeply believe in. We’re grateful to be part of a community that values supporting people to live meaningful, fulfilling lives.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey- we’re just getting started. ✨
