Happy to be able to say that my two talks on choking were apparently the most well-attended talks at the PBC expo again.

I’ve been running baby/ toddler first aid courses and doing talks on choking for 3 decades now and still find that a very high percentage of those in each group I teach are not up-to-date with the latest first aid advice for choking.

Children and adults can choke so quickly and easily and, of course, this can be immediately life-threatening.

Basic first aid knowledge saves lives, but all knowledge fades with time, so make sure you refresh your skills at least every 12 months.

Ready for day 2 at the PBC expo at the convention centre. It was a pleasure to catch up with so many of you I’ve taught previously and also to hear stories from those of you who have used the knowledge from my course in a real medical emergency.

I’ll be doing the talk on choking at 11am again today.

My stand is directly opposite the “Talks and classes” area.
