World Environment Day June 5 and World Oceans Day June 8 were both commemorated in this mixed media art journal project.

In Australia we celebrate World Bee Day on May 20. That week, and over two weeks for the kids, we created this mixed media journal page that's layered with collage, watercolour crayons and acrylic, and we used sponges, scourers, stencils, pencils and markers in the process.

Yes, the kids create the same as the adults and never doubt themselves, always trusting that the step by step lesson will get them there.
They even manage to nail their projects with non stop giggling.
😂😆😅

I'm so proud of everyone's beeautiful creations. 🐝🍯

Edmonton Mixed media art classes are back 😄
Zero creativity skills required. ☺️

Term 2 is kicking off in our home Studio next week.
A few places available in the Kids and Adult classes.
Journals are required and available for purchase in the studio.
$10 for the set
Everything else to create your project is otherwise provided.

🎨 Kids 4-6pm,
$180 for the 10-week Term
Ages are a rough guide...
Mondays Youth, Year 4 - teen
Tuesdays Juniors, Year 1-4

🎨 Adults
$25 per session
Thursdays 6:30pm
Fridays 9:30am
Casual attendance is welcome with the loveliest ladies you could hope to share space with ☺️🙏🏼🩵
