At RDH we are passionate about supporting organisations that help our workmates and industry peers deal with the challenging times they may experience in their lives because statistics show that workers in the construction industry are 9 times more likely to die from su***de than an accident at work. This is a tragic statistic and we want to help those who do all they can to reduce those fatalities.

MATES in Construction is a not for profit charity working within our industry providing su***de prevention support through community development programs on sites, and by supporting workers in need through case management and a 24/7 help line.
They are currently fundraising through the Dryspell for Mates Challenge:

Last Friday was their Dry Fecta Fundraising Day where all funds donated on the day were tripled by a number of companies including RDH.

RDH Moxy and Excavator working as a team, loading and hauling topsoil in the Goldfields where construction of a drainage pond is underway.

Topsoil is the uppermost layer of natural soil (typically 50–200mm deep) rich in organic matter and nutrients. It is stripped before major earthworks begin and must be stockpiled and managed carefully.

⏪ Flashback to 2024,
when we constructed a 12km access road to Fenix Resources' Shine Iron Ore Mine Site.

The scope of works included:
☑️ 250mm thick top up on 2km section of road
☑️ Trim and compact existing pavement as sub-grade
☑️ Supply and install pipe culverts at 5 crossings
☑️ Supply and install culvert end treatment
☑️ Trim drains
☑️ 2 coat bitumen seal performed by Bitutek, our subcontractor on this project

We regularly upgrade our fleet by purchasing new Next Gen machines which our team of mechanics maintains in order to increase longevity and minimise downtime impacts to our clients' projects.
