🌟 WE’RE HIRING – EXPERIENCED FEMALE SUPPORT WORKERS 🌟

Bridging Abilities is seeking experienced female Support Workers to join our growing team, supporting participants through in-home support, community participation, supported independent living and assistance with self-care activities.

We’re looking for compassionate, reliable professionals who have a strong understanding of person-centred practice and experience supporting participants with complex care needs and behaviours.

Essential Requirements:
✅ Female Support Worker
✅ Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting participants with complex care and behaviours
✅ Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or a relevant qualification
✅ Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
✅ Current First Aid & CPR
✅ Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
✅ Current driver’s licence and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
✅ Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
✅ Working With Children Check (desirable for future participant matching)
✅ Central coast / Newcastle based

☀️ Monday Morning as a Service Manager — let's go! ☀️

Laptop open. Hundreds of emails waiting (thanks, weekend on-call 👀). Deep breath. First coffee in hand. ☕

Before 10am I'm already across:

📋 Client rosters out the door
📊 Monthly reports sent to clients, families & stakeholders
📧 Working through the weekend's non-urgent messages
🤝 Prepping for two meetings
💰 Checking invoicing is accurate before it goes out
📅 Confirming upcoming networking events
👥 Internal management meeting locked in
📱 Catching up on my LinkedIn community (love seeing what you all get up to!)

…and yes, coffee number two is already happening. ☕☕

People ask how I manage the pace — honestly? It's the people. The clients, the families, the team. Every chaotic Monday is a reminder of why this work matters.

I love the thrill of this job and I wouldn't have it any other way. 💙
