Post 15/90 day challenge 😊

It’s transformative to see another person or being through the lens of “being just like yourself”. That they have feelings, and hopes, dreams, wants, wishes and needs. Just like you do.

Profound changes happen in our relationship when we start to come together in this way.

In a few weeks, I will be doing a new Soul Speak Live event. Where we will dive deeply into these transformative subterranean layers in our heart and mines as we create connection.

Knowing the algorithm, you may not see me again, so follow me to be sure you hear the details.

You’re the one who’s there to hold it all together and sometimes you might notice that you are losing some of yourself in the process.

If that’s you or someone you know, Soul Speak LIVE with me over, 5 Monday evenings starting June 22, is coming!

My DM’s are open if you want to join the waitlist and be amongst the first to get the registration details!

I’m excited because it will include new material and be a chance to grow and practice together.

Today’s question is #10 out of 90. It’s a tender one: How do I best love…

Lying awake wondering if they feel loved? Or wishing that they would meet you in a bit of a different way? A way that felt more loving, gentle or more affectionate and intimate?

In your heart, sometimes you might even privately wonder whether you actually know the way that you like to be loved. Nevermind how to best love them. Agh.

There’s some key shifts in our focus and in our priorities that help us to be in our natural loving self. Attentive, engaged, responsive, at ease and playful.

And if that feels a long way off right now - take a small step via my free guide to “arguing that connects.” PM me for it.

Did this raise a question for you? Let me know please. I’ve 81 more questions to answer in my challenge ♥️🙏🏻 😜

Are you weighed down by expectations or disappointed by expectations? Yours or others?

I see expectation has be beliefs, wrapped up in language that implies you have no choice - you should, you must, you have to…

Underneath that language, and the idea of an expectation can be a tender, beautiful wish or preference. Ready to have a deep conversation to find what both people can happily live with.

I would love to hear about expectations you have found useful or painful.

Expectations are so heavy and loaded in our relationships. Are you carrying obligations or is your partner?

Particularly problematic is if they’re unconscious and sitting there as if they are factual, an obligation and a duty.

So many things don’t need to be an obligation they can come naturally out of connection. For example, my relationship is monogamous because that’s what we both want and there’s a freshness about having discussed that even though it was not an option that either of us ultimately would have chosen differently. Just to leave everything as explorable is unbelievably refreshing and an endlessly interesting dialogue to know each other.

What have expectations have you challenged ?
