Tullybrook Peer Program
July 2026
Day 3 began around the winter fire, where participants enjoyed roasting marshmallows while practising age appropriate dignity of risk. With the right support, participants engaged in safe risk taking, building confidence, independence and decision making through meaningful, real-life experiences.

Preparing and sharing a meal together was another important part of the day, providing opportunities to develop practical life skills, strengthen communication, encourage teamwork and enjoy the social connection that comes from eating together.

Games Day was all about connection, learning and leadership. Participants brought along their favourite games to teach and share with others, building confidence, communication and teamwork through shared experiences. Every activity involved two or more people, creating opportunities to make choices, solve problems and strengthen friendships.

Our team supported participants to move between activities of their choice, encouraging independence while putting the skills developed through their individualised programs into practice in a fun and meaningful way.

The day finished with a relaxing soak in the warm hot tub, a perfect end to another memorable day of learning, purpose and belonging.

Tullybrook Peer Program July 2026
Day 2
National ANZAC Centre, Albany

Today our Peer Program participants immersed themselves in history at the National ANZAC Centre in Albany. Each participant selected an individual serviceman or servicewoman to follow throughout the museum, creating a meaningful and personal connection to the stories of courage, sacrifice and resilience.

Together, participants respectfully shared the experience with other community members, supporting one another as they explored the interactive exhibits, war artefacts, bunkers, forts and memorials. The day continued with a visit to the Albany Wind Farm, where everyone enjoyed the stunning coastal views and reflected on the day’s experiences.

Through shared learning and new experiences, participants demonstrated kindness, curiosity and teamwork while continuing to strengthen friendships and build confidence.

Building skills, creating memories and growing stronger together, one adventure at a time.

Tullybrook Peer Program
July 2026
Day 1 🐋🐬

What an incredible start to our July Peer Program. Today our group enjoyed a whale watching adventure with King George Safaris, followed by lunch together at Whale World Café.

We were lucky enough to see whales and dolphins in their natural environment, making it a truly unforgettable experience. Throughout the day, participants developed valuable skills by working together as a group, following safety and risk management procedures, building friendships, and showing leadership by supporting and encouraging one another. We also learned about the importance of protecting our marine environment and gained a greater appreciation for the amazing wildlife along our coastline.

A fantastic first day filled with learning, connection and memorable experiences. We can’t wait for Day 2.

🪞🐎 The Horse as a Mirror 🐎🪞
"The horse is a mirror to your soul. Sometimes you might not like what you see, sometimes you will."
– Buck Brannaman

There’s something powerful about the silent truth a horse reflects. Whether you're training, riding, or simply spending time with them, they respond to the energy you bring. Calm, chaos, fear, confidence—whatever's inside, they show it back.

✨ Let them teach you. Let them humble you. Let them heal you. ✨
