Tullybrook Peer Program
July 2026
Day 3 began around the winter fire, where participants enjoyed roasting marshmallows while practising age appropriate dignity of risk. With the right support, participants engaged in safe risk taking, building confidence, independence and decision making through meaningful, real-life experiences.
Preparing and sharing a meal together was another important part of the day, providing opportunities to develop practical life skills, strengthen communication, encourage teamwork and enjoy the social connection that comes from eating together.
Games Day was all about connection, learning and leadership. Participants brought along their favourite games to teach and share with others, building confidence, communication and teamwork through shared experiences. Every activity involved two or more people, creating opportunities to make choices, solve problems and strengthen friendships.
Our team supported participants to move between activities of their choice, encouraging independence while putting the skills developed through their individualised programs into practice in a fun and meaningful way.
The day finished with a relaxing soak in the warm hot tub, a perfect end to another memorable day of learning, purpose and belonging.
