Happy 24th birthday, Tyrhys! 🎉

At Tullybrook, we love celebrating each participant’s birthday and recognising how valued and important they are to our community. Tyler and Cameron joined the celebrations, making it a lovely day full of friendship.

Tyrhys chose to make a marbled cake with strawberry icing and bluey decorations. Cameron took on the decorating challenge and did a fantastic job! For lunch, Tyrhys picked homemade hamburgers and chips, a delicious birthday feast.

We hope you had a wonderful day, Tyrhys! 🎂💙

At Tullybrook participants experience age appropriate activities and challenges, towards actively participating in the community, living independently, and developing pre-workplace skills.

Tullybrook is a place of learning, purpose and belonging for NDIS ( National Disability Insurance Scheme) participants 15 years + who are accessing Self-Managed or Plan Managed NDIS funding.

Farrier day at Tullybrook!
Sarah came by to trim the horses, and we had to share this hoof comparison: Cooper’s enormous hoof beside Doc’s. What a difference! 🐴

A little sunshine, a Wednesday session with Cooper, and plenty of learning.

Together, we practised noticing our feelings, choosing safe places for our feet, and staying aware of Cooper’s movements. We took turns, assessed risks, and supported one another.

These skills reach beyond the session: recognising and managing emotional regulation, taking turns, making safe choices, and helping others are skills transferable to workplaces, friendships, and community.
