Every parent needs to read this.
This isn’t just a parenting challenge.
It’s an emotional wellbeing crisis.
The latest Australian statistics are telling us something we cannot ignore:
🌀Nearly 4 in 10 Australians aged 16–24 experience a mental health diagnosis each year, with young women experiencing the highest rates of anxiety.
🌀Girls aged 15–19 are almost four times more likely than boys to be hospitalised for intentional self-harm.
🌀Around 28% of young Australian women report having self-harmed at some point in their lives.
🌀97% of young Australians use social media every day, and spending more than three hours a day online is associated with significantly higher levels of psychological distress and loneliness.
These aren’t just statistics.
These are our daughters.
Our granddaughters.
Our nieces.
Our students.
Our future.
Behind many of these struggles can be a young person who has quietly concluded:
“I’m not enough.”
“I don’t belong.”
“I’m unlovable.”
“Something is wrong with me.”
These are not facts.
They are painful emotional conclusions that can be formed during difficult experiences and then carried into everyday life.
At the Mace Energy Method (MEM), we see people not as broken, but as individuals whose natural wellbeing has become overshadowed by unresolved emotional experiences.
MEM is a gentle, non-disclosure process designed to help people identify and resolve the emotional causes behind persistent negative feelings and the identities they may have unknowingly formed. Without needing to relive traumatic events or tell their life story in detail, many people report feeling lighter, calmer, more confident, and more connected to who they naturally are.
Imagine if, instead of teaching our children to simply cope with feeling “not enough,” we could help them rediscover that they were never “not enough” to begin with.
Every child deserves to grow up knowing their worth isn’t determined by likes, appearance, popularity, achievements, or comparison.
They deserve to know who they truly are.
💙 If you’d like to learn more about the Mace Energy Method (MEM) or find a qualified MEM Practitioner, we’d love to help.
