What do you get when you combine a farm shed, egg and bacon rolls, free haircuts and a powerful conversation? 🚜🥓☕

This morning, more than 50 locals gathered at Sawyers Farms in Leaghur for the very first Boots Up Breakfast.

Along with a great breakfast and a fresh trim from the pop-up barbers, attendees heard from the inspiring Ben Pettingill, who describes himself as "a blind bloke on a mission to make the most out of life and get people talking about the tough stuff."

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the morning such a success. Special thanks to James (Jim) Wilson from North West Ag for leading the event, and to our fantastic local partners for working with NDCH to bring it all together.

It's all about creating opportunities for people to connect, have a chat and support one another—because healthy communities are built together. 💙

You can do anything with diabetes.

Living with diabetes doesn't define a person or limit what they can achieve. With the right support, education and care, people living with diabetes can continue to pursue their goals, passions and everyday life.

This week has been about raising awareness, challenging myths and encouraging conversations about diabetes. Thank you for helping us spread the message.
