We are so excited to welcome Kellie to the Finders Keepers WA team! 💙

Here’s a little bit about Kellie:

🐶🐱🐰 She loves spending time with her family — both the human and furry members!
🏖️ She loves the beach… although she’s definitely happy staying out of the water! 😂
🧶🧵 She’s a big fan of all things crafty, including crochet, knitting, cross stitch and diamond art.
🍿🎥 She enjoys sitting down for a good movie or TV series — but there must be a craft in her hands at the same time!
🧁 She loves baking and is slowly improving her decorating skills.
📚 And when she’s not doing any of the above, you’ll find her curled up with a good book — although her TBR pile may require her to live for eternity! 😂📚

🌟 National Youth Volunteer Week – Youth Role of the Day 🌟

Wrapping up our youth roles for National Youth Volunteer Week with this one — Gardener / Light Handyperson.

If you're happiest outdoors and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this role involves general gardening like weeding, pruning, watering and planting to keep the grounds looking great, plus light maintenance tasks like minor repairs and tidying up outdoor areas.

You'll need basic gardening or maintenance skills, a proactive attitude and an eye for detail. Comfortable working solo or as part of a team either way.

Great option if you're practical, like being active, and want to see the difference you're making straight away.

A massive thank you to the incredible team at Fighter Fit Mandurah for welcoming our participants and creating such a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment.

It was fantastic to see everyone stepping outside their comfort zones, building confidence, learning new skills, and most importantly, having fun! 💪😊 Your patience, encouragement, and passion for helping others made the experience one to remember.

Activities like these not only promote health and fitness but also build friendships, resilience, and self-confidence. We are so grateful for your ongoing support of our community.

🎉 Please Join Us in Welcoming Warren to the Finders Keepers WA Team! 🎉

We are excited to welcome Warren to the Finders Keepers WA family as our newest Mentor!

Warren brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles in retail, including Vodafone and Virgin Mobile, before discovering his passion for supporting others as a home support carer. His dedication to helping people achieve their goals and live more independently makes him a fantastic addition to our team.

Warren says that being a support worker "lit a fire" in him to walk alongside people, provide encouragement, and help them achieve their goals—and we're so pleased he's bringing that passion to Finders Keepers WA.

When he's not supporting participants, Warren enjoys camping, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
