Exploring Vata Dosha Imbalances ⬇️ 💨

Ayurveda is a science that reminds us we are all a part of nature. The Doshas are a language used to describe mind and body imbalances through the elements found in nature.

Vata Dosha is made up of the air and space elements.

The qualities of air are movement, dryness, and variability. We can see these qualities reflected in the gases within the body and the movement of our thoughts.

The qualities of space are lightness, expansiveness, and openness.

Within the mind and body, we can experience either an excess or deficiency of these elements, causing a Dosha to become imbalanced straying you from your unique health blueprint.

For example:

🌬️ Gas & Bloating – Excess air within the digestive system can create gas and bloating. This is often aggravated by foods that share similar qualities, such as bread and crackers, which are light and airy.

😰 Stress & Anxiety – Too much movement (a quality of air) coming into the senses creates mental busyness like racing thoughts, impacting the quality of your nervous system.

🩻 Stiffness & Lower Back Pain – Air is drying by nature, so excess Vata can dry out the joints. It impacts lubrication and therefore joint fluidity, contributing to the stiffness you feel, especially in the morning.

These are three common symptoms that society often passes off as “normal.”

As someone who experienced all of these symptoms and used Yoga and Ayurveda to bring myself back into balance, I can tell you this: don’t settle for living with discomfort.

Your body is signalling that something needs to change. It’s communicating that you’re out of balance and moving away from the state where you can feel your best.

Take the quiz via the link in my bio for a deeper assessment of your Doshas, and discover mind, body, and lifestyle practices to support yourself back into balance.

Raise your baseline for health. You deserve it. ☯️✨

The online community is officially open 🔥

I felt the call to create this space whilst travelling, when I was feeling a little lonely and disconnected. I attended a women’s circle and was instantly reminded of the power of women coming together (thank you .wonders ❤️).

That circle became a safe space that felt like home whilst I was in Bali. The community not only fulfilled my need for connection, but each gathering brought me back to myself — which is so important in this busy, overstimulating world. I was seen, I was heard, I was held, and I always left feeling inspired, energised, and empowered.

It had me thinking that women all over the world need access to these spaces, and in-person circles aren’t always available. Come As You Are needed to be born (especially with all the van travel coming my way).

This will be a regular, fortnightly gathering that women can access from wherever they are in the world.

Our first circle is centred around the theme of The Dark Feminine. However, there won’t always be a theme, sometimes the night will just flow exactly where it needs.

Upcoming circles will be announced on my feed and stories a few days beforehand, so keep an eye out for dates. Comment below or send me a DM for the link 💕

A different password will be used each time, so please reach out to confirm your spot and receive the new password. I want to ensure the energy of this space is always protected for the women who enter.

I can’t wait to co-create this supportive community with the women who feel the call ✨

Bali is such a powerful place to explore connection ⬇️

Firstly with yourself, then in friendship, and of course, intimate relationships.

The energy here is so potent that it forces you to explore the parts of yourself that still need love and acceptance.

I landed in Ubud feeling insecure and comparing myself to others. I was forced to look within and reclaim parts of myself I had given away. There was a big chapter of remembering my worth and re-igniting my Shakti. Dance became beautiful medicine for this.

But my connections with others showed me more than I could have ever seen in isolation. Ubud is a land of free spirits, open relationships, self-exploration, and deep healing.

I was challenged to explore:

🌹 Boundaries and where I still need more confidence in relationships

🌹 How I communicate and the impact it has

🌹 The ways I still abandon myself in connection

🌹 What I need to create safety

🌹The different types of connection that exist. That you can have such a deep, intimate connection with someone, yet know that’s all it can be due to differing partnership desires or distance

🌹 The wounds and beliefs that arise when a connection is tested

🌹 The connections I’m drawn to because of old wounds

🌹 What I need and enjoy during intimacy

🌹 How much energy I can give and receive

🌹 The art of letting go; intimate connections, soul sisters, places of safety, and the loneliness and withdrawal that can follow.

It’s been beautiful, challenging, and deeply insightful to explore parts of myself that haven’t been activated in over 10 years.

I feel so much gratitude for every person who crossed my path in Bali. Some awakened me, many inspired me, and a few felt like home — each one cracking my heart open a little more to the beauty of this world.

Mama Bali, you are a beautiful teacher 🙏🏼

I am honoured to experience your magic again and look forward to integrating these lessons into my being.

Until next time ✈️👋🏻

And so she finally had the freedom to do anything she wanted in life. They asked:

‘So Darling, what did you want to do?’

She replied:

‘Rest’
