I’ll never understand why a dog’s individual health, immune history, current medications and genuine exposure risk can suddenly become irrelevant because a computer says they’re “due.”
A reminder is not a clinical assessment.
This isn’t about telling you what decision to make. It’s about reminding you that you’re allowed to ask:
Does my dog actually need this?
Do they need it today?
Are they healthy enough?
Can we titre test?
What are the risks for this individual dog?
Annual health checks? Absolutely.
Automatic annual injections regardless of the dog in front of you? Absolutely not.
Advocate for your dog.
