Sometimes we don’t need to do more.
We need somewhere to soften.
Somewhere to put down what we’ve been carrying.
Somewhere to simply be. 🤍

I’ve created a little space on my website for exactly that.

🌙 Sleep & Surrender
A deeply calming guided meditation created to help you slow the mind, soften the body and gently surrender into rest.
Simply leave your email and the meditation is yours to listen to whenever you need it.

🌿 Coming Home to Yourself
This one is completely free — no exchange, no expectation.
Just a quiet offering from me to you.
A few moments to breathe, reconnect and come back to yourself when life feels a little too loud.

If one of these recordings helps you sleep a little deeper, breathe a little easier, or simply feel a little more held in your day, then they have done exactly what I created them to do.

✨ Take what you need.
✨ Come back whenever you need.
✨ Your quiet space is waiting.
You can find both now on my website under The Quiet Corner. 🤍

I’ve Been Quiet… But I Haven’t Been Still. 🤍

You may have noticed I’ve been a little quieter on this page lately.

But being quiet doesn’t mean I haven’t been present.

In fact, quite the opposite.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been rebuilding, creating, learning, writing and working out what I want the next chapter of Harmonized Therapies to look like.
And I’m really excited to finally start sharing some of it with you.

🌿 A new-look Harmonized Therapies
I have completely remodelled and redeveloped my website.

And no… I didn’t hire someone to do it! 😂
It has been me, behind the scenes, learning the tech, changing things, getting frustrated, changing them again and probably spending far too many hours saying, “Surely I can work this out!”

But I actually love the challenge.

More importantly, I wanted the website to feel more like me and to reflect how my work has evolved over the years.
Massage is still very much at the heart of what I do.

You’ll still find me in my home clinic, and every second week at Tudor Village doing something I absolutely love — massage and connection with the beautiful people there. And of course my retreats.

But there is more growing alongside it.

✨ The Quiet Corner
I’ve created a new space on my website called The Quiet Corner.
It's somewhere you can come without needing to book anything or be anything.
A place where I can share things to read, things I find interesting, little pieces about the why behind the work I do, wellbeing, reflection and hopefully some things that simply make you stop and think.

And there is now a Meditation Corner too.
Meditation has actually been quietly woven through my work for years.

I've used it during wellbeing sessions with clients, at the end of massage treatments, in workshops and retreats, and during my time working in palliative care, where I was sometimes invited to lead meditations as part of staff training days.

Something that started quite naturally has just continued to grow.

So I've finally begun recording them.
There are two available now, with more recorded and waiting to be uploaded.
If you listen to one, I genuinely hope it gives you a little place to land. 🤍

📖 And then there's something very close to my heart…

I’m writing a book.
Even typing that still feels a little surreal.
It's called The Quiet Holders.
This one has been sitting inside me for a long time.
It's about the experiences that shape us. The things we carry quietly. The times we find ourselves holding everyone and everything together while parts of our own story remain unseen.

And it's also about why I became the person and therapist I am today.
There is a lot of my own story within its pages.

Some of it beautiful.
Some of it incredibly difficult.
Some of it I've carried for many years.
But I've reached a point where I understand that perhaps our stories aren't always meant to stay hidden.

If something I've experienced, learned or survived helps one woman — or one man — recognise themselves in those pages and feel a little less alone in their own experience, then sharing it will have been worth it.

There are other things growing from The Quiet Holders too…but I'll save those for another day. 🌙

So, if my page occasionally becomes quiet again, you'll know where I am.
I’m probably massaging someone…
Writing another chapter…
Recording a meditation…
Creating something for The Quiet Corner…
Working at Tudor Village…
Sitting in my home clinic with a client…
Or staring at my computer trying to work out some piece of technology I was absolutely convinced I could teach myself. 😂

I haven't disappeared.

I'm simply taking the time to build something that feels true to where I've been, who I've become, and where I'm going next.
And I'm really looking forward to sharing more of it with you.

Thank you to those who have quietly stayed here while I've been creating behind the scenes.

There is so much more to come. 🤍🌿

When Work Feels Like a Gift 🌿

Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to work at many beautiful retreats, offering massage and holding space for people as they step away from everyday life.
Last week, I was invited to join the team at Rest and Restore Retreat in Warburton, and from the moment I drove in, I knew there was something special about this place.
This is retreating with a touch of luxury.
Beautiful, comfortable accommodation surrounded by the Yarra Valley forest, nourishing food, thoughtful spaces to rest and reconnect, and a team who genuinely care about the experience they are creating for every guest.
Rob and his wonderful team made me feel incredibly welcome, and it was such a privilege to become a small part of what they offer.
But there was one moment that captured it all for me.
I had just finished a massage and, as I stepped outside, I could hear the sound of drums travelling through the trees.
I followed the sound down towards the Warburton river, where an African drumming session was happening beside a beautiful fire. The river was flowing alongside them, the forest surrounding us, and nearby was the sauna — a place to warm the body, slow down and soak up all the goodness of being amongst nature.
I just stood there for a moment and took it all in.
This is why retreats can be so powerful.
It’s not one treatment, one activity or one beautiful meal. It’s what happens when all those little moments come together and give someone permission to stop.
To be cared for.
To reconnect with their body.
To laugh, breathe, eat beautiful food, sit beside a fire, listen to the river — and perhaps remember a little of themselves again.
After many years of working within retreats, I can genuinely say Rest and Restore is a beautiful retreat experience, and I’m so grateful to have been invited to bring my massage work into this wonderful environment.
There are days when I’m reminded just how much I love what I do.
This was one of them. 🌿

Three days… and my heart feels full in the most humbling way.

I’ve just finished working alongside Liz Stilwell and Sandy Clinton at the Wellbeing Cancer Retreat — the only one of its kind here in Australia. A space that feels less like a program and more like a gentle exhale for the soul.
Set within the quiet beauty of the Yarra Valley Living Centre, once the Ian Gawler Foundation property in Yarra Junction, the land itself seems to hold you. There’s a stillness there… like it understands why you’ve come.
Over these past few days, I had the privilege of caring for the most incredible women. Each one carrying her own story, her own journey, her own strength. To sit, to listen, to witness… and then to create a massage that meets them exactly where they are — it’s something I never take lightly.
There’s a different kind of healing that happens in spaces like this. It’s not rushed. It’s not forced. It’s layered with compassion, connection, and quiet courage.
I feel so grateful to have been part of it — even just for a moment in their journey.

Today we remember all those who fought for us to be here today.
For the courage they showed,
the sacrifices they made,
and the lives they gave… we thank you.
I hold a special place in my heart for my great grandfather, Thomas Toogood.
He survived Gallipoli, showing incredible strength and resilience, and continued to serve. Sadly, he never made it home, laid to rest somewhere in France, far from the life he once knew.
A story of bravery, sacrifice, and a life given for something greater.
Because of him, and so many others, we live the lives we do today.
Thank you for your service.
We will remember you.
Lest we forget. 🌺

✨ Hello again, it’s been a little while… ✨
I haven’t posted since January 1st.
Two weeks ago, I had to say goodbye to my beautiful girl, my dog Lunar .
And in that moment, I was reminded of something I see so often in my grief work — the way animals leave deep, quiet footprints on our hearts.
They don’t just walk beside us…
they teach us about presence, unconditional love, and how to sit with emotion without words.
Lunar’s passing gently brought me back to the heart of my work — the importance of holding space.
Holding space for grief.
Holding space for love.
And most importantly, holding space for ourselves when life asks us to slow down.
So I haven’t gone anywhere… I simply took some time to focus on me.
To rest.
To reset.
To honour what my heart needed.
Behind the scenes, I’ve been reflecting and creating — exploring new possibilities and reimagining my retreat workshops and healing offerings so they feel even more aligned, nurturing, and supportive.
Grief changes us, but it also deepens us.
And from that place of depth, new work is being born.
Thank you for being here and walking this path with me 🤍

As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to thank every soul who has walked through my space, trusted me with their healing, or quietly followed along.

This past year has reminded me that true harmony isn’t about everything being perfect — it’s about meeting ourselves exactly where we are, with compassion, patience, and presence.
In the year ahead, my intention is to continue holding safe, grounded space for rest, regulation, and reconnection — especially for those who give so much of themselves to others.

May this new year bring you steadiness, clarity, and moments of deep exhale.
I look forward to walking alongside you in 2026 🤍

With gratitude,
Danielle

Merry Christmas to all of you 🎄✨

As this year comes to a close, I want to thank each and every one of you for being part of this beautiful community — for your support, your trust, your openness, and the way you continue to show up for your own healing and growth.

May this Christmas bring moments of peace, rest, and gentle joy. May you feel held, supported, and reminded that you are never alone — even in the quieter or harder moments.

Wishing you a safe, nourishing festive season and a New Year filled with hope, renewal, and alignment.
With gratitude and warmth,
Danielle 🤍
