INTRO TO REAGENTS #4 EHRLICH (pronounced 'ur-lick' or air-lick')⁠

Erhrlich Reagent can be used to presumptively identify indole-bearing compounds like L*D, DMT, and psilocybin.⁠
⁠
Ehrlich reagent reacts with tryptamines (such as DMT) and ergoloids (such as L*D). It can also react with raw o***m due to its small tryptophan content. ⁠
One key advantage of Ehrlich reagent is that it does not react with paper, allowing paper blotters to be tested without issues. ⁠
⁠
Reagents CAN: Detect the presence of certain *rugs in your sample⁠
-Indicate whether your *rug sample is suspicious or not⁠
-Assist you in making an informed choice regarding the consumption of a *rug.⁠
⁠
Reagents CAN NOT: Indicate the potency or strength of your *rug sample⁠
-Indicate the purity of your *rug sample⁠
-Give you exact details about the composition of your *rug sample⁠

If you can't get to a fixed or mobile *rug checking service, than reagent tests can give you some information at home. But ideally, "it's best to test".⁠

DRUG NOTIFICATION : Two samples expected to be M**A were found to contain methamphetamine only. No M**A was detected. The samples were in red capsules with a small heart on them.

INTRO TO REAGENTS #3 MECKE
(pronounced 'meh-kay' or meh-key')

The Mecke Reagent can be used to perform more specialised testing, especially when testing unknown substances.
Used to detect MD@, MDM@, and OP8s.

As a kind of 'bonus' it tests CLEAR on , c0k3 and ketta so it can be used to test adulterants in these substances.

Remember Reagents are a TOOL. 🔧
Like all tools they have their limitations.

Reagents CAN: ✅️
-Detect the presence of certain *rugs in your sample
-Indicate whether your *rug sample is suspicious or not
-Assist you in making an informed choice regarding the consumption of a *rug.

August 31, International Overdose Awareness Day (IOAD) 💜
brings a global community together to take action on overdose, every year.

For 25 years, International Overdose Awareness Day💜 has brought people together to remember those we’ve lost 🪦
and to take action to save lives.

The truth is - we shouldn’t still need this day.
But we do.

In Australia, overdose killed twice as many people as traffic accidents
in 2024. 🚘️
Overdose happens with ALL drugs and affects ALL parts of our community.🧑🏼‍🎓 👩🏾‍🍳👩‍🎤👷🏻‍♂️

But it CAN be prevented.

Last year alone the Victorian Pill Testing Service
gave out 700 naloxone kits
and tested over 3000 samples - of which 14% contained unexpected ingredients.

We will continue to do our part so you can make informed decisions around your substances and do your part.
