When most kids are dreaming about what they want to be when they grow up… very few imagine themselves working in a mortuary.

But for today’s guest, her calling came very early. Growing up in a Muslim family, Sofiya’s father told her that those who care for the sick and dying would be rewarded in the afterlife.

This led Sofiya to think about who would care for her family. The thought of letting someone else to take on that role made her feel sick.
