✂️ We can't say this was the quickest way to get a haircut...

Before Roz's head shave for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, there was a light-hearted attempt to get the job done with a pair of old sheep shears! Safe to say there were plenty of laughs before the real clippers came out.

Thanks to the generosity of residents, families, staff and supporters, the event raised almost $1,500 for Cancer Council Australia 💛

☕ A wonderful morning for a wonderful cause.

Residents, staff and supporters recently came together for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, enjoying plenty of treats, conversation and community spirit.

A special congratulations to Roz, who bravely shaved her head as part of the fundraising effort. Thanks to the generosity of everyone who donated and supported the event, almost $1,500 was raised for Cancer Council Australia.

A new week at Princes Court Homes brings a mix of familiar routines and a few special moments to enjoy together.

Residents will take part in activities including exercises with the lifestyle team, Knit & Knatter, ten pin bowling, cards and Hoy, alongside physio sessions, bingo and carpet bowls.

The week also includes World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, providing an opportunity to raise awareness and encourage conversations about respect, dignity and safety for older people.

We’re also celebrating Keith’s birthday this week 🎂

Alongside these activities are the familiar routines residents enjoy each day, including walking groups, morning tea in the Fountain Café and time spent catching up with friends.

These moments, both big and small, help create a vibrant and connected community across the home 💙

Another week of community life is underway at Princes Court Homes.

Residents will enjoy a mix of movement, social connection and shared moments throughout the week, alongside some regular meetings and special activities.

Highlights this week include:

💪 Movement & wellbeing – Exercises with the lifestyle team, Physio Fun and Tai Chi
🤝 Connection & community – Food Appreciation Meeting, Resident & Family Meeting and Lifestyle Representative Meeting
🎯 Social activities – Bingo, carpet bowls and Happy Hour & Hangman
⛪ Reflection & routine – Catholic Church Service in the chapel and Sunday livestream
🎬 Weekend moments – Movie time featuring The Short Game

We’re also celebrating a special birthday this week, with Len 🎂

Daily favourites continue throughout the week, including walking groups, morning tea in the Fountain Café and afternoon walks.

It’s these shared moments that help create the warm and welcoming community residents enjoy every day 💙
