Because those first months with a new bub can feel like you’re the only one who hasn’t got it figured out. You’re not.

DadConnect is a free online program from Dads Group for new and expecting parents. It’s a space to talk honestly about the early days, work as a team at home, and hear from other dads going through exactly the same thing.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY - RED CLIFFS URBAN POTABLE WATER CUSTOMERS ONLY

Lower Murray Water (LMW) is advising customers in the Red Cliffs township to boil water for a minimum of one minute prior to consumption until further notice.

A burst pipeline in Barclay Square near Big Lizzie has caused the Red Cliffs water supply to be interrupted for a brief period and as a part of the repair process, we are issuing a boil water advice until the system is back to operating as normal.

Water is safe for showers and baths but must be boiled and cooled if used for drinking and food preparation.

Other areas in the LMW region are NOT affected and can continue to use water as usual.

We apologise for this interruption of supply.

An update will be provided at 10am tomorrow (Fri 30 Oct)

Need help to understand how NDIS cuts may affect your child

NDIS funding cuts have begun to apply to two categories of NDIS support:
🔹 50% cut to assistance with social, economic and community participation in core supports
🔹 10% cut to Improved Daily Living Skills under capacity building

The changes apply to all NDIS participants, but they will not affect every plan at the same time. Some supports within these categories are protected from the cuts.

Asking for an adjustment can feel huge, even when the thing you need is small. And for managers, knowing what to say when someone discloses can feel just as daunting.

So I've made two free toolkits, one for each side of the conversation:

→ Asking for What You Need at Work, for neurodivergent employees. Scripts for booking the conversation, asking with or without disclosing, handling pushback, plus a written request template and 12 common adjustments.

→ When Someone Tells You, for managers. What to say in the first minute, phrases to avoid, offering adjustments, confidentiality, and supporting without infantilising.
