Last week, APLUS Pharmacy Education was proud to host our Shepparton, Asthma Updates That Matter educational dinner meeting. With 44 healthcare professionals in attendance and a waiting list, the overwhelming response reflects a growing commitment to implementing the National Asthma Council Australia's updated Australian Asthma Handbook and advancing best practice asthma care across regional Victoria.
The evening brought together GPs, nurses and pharmacists for an engaging evening of learning, discussion and collaboration. It was inspiring to see healthcare professionals from across the region sharing ideas, asking questions and exploring practical ways to improve asthma care for their patients.
A special thank you to Dr Sam Kennedy for sharing Zoe's story and reminding us that the Zoe Kennedy Foundation is about far more than remembrance, it's about turning heartbreak into meaningful action and improving asthma outcomes for Australians.
This initiative would not have been possible without the generous support of the Zoe Kennedy Foundation, the National Asthma Council Australia, AstraZeneca and Trudell Medical InternationalInternational. Thank you for your shared commitment to advancing respiratory care through education.
This is just the beginning. Together, we're building confidence, strengthening collaboration and supporting the implementation of evidence based asthma care to improve outcomes for people living with asthma.
