Our first aid courses have been specifically designed for parents, expecting parents, grandparents, childcare providers and anyone responsible for the care and safety of children. KidzAid training sessions will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to be able to confidently recognise and manage a seriously ill or injured baby/child. At KidzAid we are more than just first aiders, our instructors are healthcare professional, extremely passionate in educating the community in paediatric first aid and resuscitation. We will ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable in our sessions and most importantly empowered by the information and skills provided. We are mobile and will happily come to you, private home, workplace or community venue, servicing AUSTRALIA wide! Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, plus regional and remote areas.

Last night we had the pleasure of delivering a Paediatric CPR & Choking course for a wonderful group of expecting parents through Bundle Women's Health👶❤️

Preparing for a new baby comes with lots of excitement, and we love being able to provide parents with the knowledge and confidence to respond in an emergency. From infant CPR to choking first aid, participants gained practical, hands-on skills that could one day make a life-saving difference.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and engaged so enthusiastically throughout the session. We also appreciate our partners at Bundle for helping connect families with important education and support as they prepare for parenthood.

This is a picture of the lungs of a small child who died of suffocation. It is a peanut. Peanuts and other nuts are the size of the airway of a child younger than 4 to 5 years. The risk of death from suffocation is real, but it is avoidable.

Learning how to manage a choking situation is VITAL!

To vomit or not to vomit - that is the question.

Current best practice is to NOT induce vomiting in cases of poisoning, but many people are unaware of this. Please share this message to help prevent unnecessary complications from induced vomiting.

Choking: Would you know what to do?

STOP: The Heimlich maneuver is outdated and can be really dangerous, as is putting fingers or any other suction devices in your babies throat!
