🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ It’s not often your personal values and a business opportunity line up perfectly. Our new partnership with JOY Media | JOY 94.9 | Independent LGBTQIA+ Media is one of those rare moments.

Half of Candour’s founding team is part of the LGBTQI+ community, and many more of us have family and friends who are too. Supporting JOY, Melbourne’s LGBTQI+ radio station, isn’t just good business. It’s personal.

It’s also a direct reflection of who we are: an empathetic, courageous funeral company that leads by example. And as we work towards B Corp certification, partnerships like this are exactly the kind of action we want to be known for.

💛🎶 Recently, we had the talented Sandhurst Singers perform for residents at a local aged care home as part of our Candour Connects community program.

There’s something special about live music. It brings people together, sparks conversation and creates moments of joy.

Thank you to the Sandhurst Singers for so generously sharing their time and talent. It was a wonderful afternoon, and we’re grateful to Peninsula Essence for featuring the story in their July edition.

Yesterday’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea was everything we hoped it would be 💚🫖💚🫖💚

A beautiful morning spent junk journalling with
Sharing Devonshire Tea, warm conversations and genuine connection with such a wonderful group of people.

We’re also so proud to share that Candour is dollar matching every donation made — meaning together we’ve now raised over $1,000 for cancer research in support of Cancer Council Australia.
